For running a blog site, you would need a blogging platform. There are many blogging platforms on Internet. So, there would a question which platform should I use and why should I use that? Personally I would recommend to use WordPress (self-hosted) because there is no doubt about WordPress (self-hosted) is the best platform for blogging.


Is there any cost to run my site on WordPress (self-hosted)? Absolutely, no cost. WordPress (self-hosted) is free CMS (content management system) tools to use and it can be downloaded here and watch WordPress videos tutorial series here to learn how to use WordPress to make a blog or website.
